How to delete contacts, notes, calendar connections and your entire Netly account.

This page explains how to delete the data stored in Netly – individual contacts, individual notes, calendar connections, and your entire user account including all associated data. You can delete data directly in the app or, if you no longer have access, request deletion by email.

§ 1

Delete a single contact

There are two ways to delete a contact:

Option A – Quick swipe: Open the People menu, swipe the contact sideways in the list and confirm the deletion.

Option B – Via edit: Open the People menu, select the person from the list, tap the pencil icon (edit) and choose Delete contact. The contact is removed from Netly.

Delete a note

  • Open the relevant contact from the People menu.
  • Switch to the Notes tab and tap the note you want to delete.
  • In the edit form that opens, tap Delete at the bottom and confirm.

Delete calendar data (disconnect)

Calendar events come from your linked email/calendar account (Google or Apple). Netly only displays these events. To remove calendar data from Netly, disconnect the linked account:

  • Open Settings.
  • Choose Connections.
  • Select the account (e.g. Google Calendar) and tap Disconnect.

Delete your account and all data

  • Open Settings.
  • Choose Profile.
  • Choose Delete profile and confirm.

When the account is deleted, all data you created, imported or added later in Netly is irreversibly removed.

§ 5

What data is deleted?

Profile data (name, email, login): Irreversibly removed when the account is deleted. No further retention.

Contacts, notes and other CRM data: All records you created, imported or added later are irreversibly removed when the account is deleted. No further retention.

Calendar connections: Connections to Google and Apple Calendar are severed when the account is deleted. No further retention in Netly.

Billing and invoice data (paid use only): Retained for 7 years after account deletion due to statutory retention obligations under § 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO) and § 212 of the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB), then deleted. During the retention period this data is locked and no longer actively processed.

§ 6

Deletion without app access

If you have uninstalled the app or can no longer sign in, contact us at office@netly-crm.com and request deletion of your account and all data. Please include the email address associated with your account.

We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with Art. 12(3) GDPR and confirm the deletion in writing.
